RELATED SERVICES OVERVIEW

Kingsway Learning Center (KLC) provides a comprehensive array of related and ancillary services across its entire programmatic continuum.  Early Intervention services are provided as per the child’s Individualized Family Service Plan. In the school programs, these vitally important services are fully integrated into the educational experience, in every instructional construct and in every adaptation, accommodation, modification, strategy and support we create.  Our highly collaborative team utilizes a clinical model that recognizes the complex nature of each student’s unique neurocognitive and developmental profile and seeks to identify those approaches that are most appropriate and effective for each and every student.

KLC has expanded the number and types of related services and therapies over the years to reflect and effectively respond to the changing nature of our student population.  As KLC moved into a more complex population of students, we began to offer the traditional rehabilitation services of speech-language therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy. More recently, KLC has included a significant amount of behavioral support services, clinical nursing services, transition coordination and even job coaching for the older students in our Secondary Program.
